Steve’s gigs. R

Hi Friends
I’m in Tobago enjoying my annual escape from the UK winter.
I had a couple of great gigs here with French sailing friend Titou, a wonderful keyboard player. They were spontaneous events that sometimes really work, and they did. Sadly Titou has sailed away.

I have some nice gigs coming up in England and I hope you can make it to some of them.
All the best
Steve

“JetStream” by Jet Collective
Our latest suite was recently released as a double CD.
“JetStream” was inspired by the theme of weather and climate and has some startlingly original tunes like ‘Carbon Love Affair’, ‘Isobars’, ‘Troppo’, ‘Glaciology’, ‘Solar Storm’ and more, which we will perform.
Please come and see and hear the ‘JetStream’ without having to go to the stratosphere!
You will hear some great musicians – Reg Clegg on guitars and bass and his unique falsetto singing, Karen Clegg on flute, keyboards, melodica and her wonderful singing, Simon Beckett on congas and various percussion instruments, Clive Loveday’s brilliant drumming, Paul Biggins on keyboard, guitar and bass guitar, and last but not least Steve Salfield on tenor, alto and soprano saxes.
You could even buy the CD if you want to! It’s also available for download at amazon.co.uk and the apple store.

Here are just three of many gratifying reviews.
‘Jetstream’ is the most inspiring suite of music I have heard in an age. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that JET collective are the most consummate group of musicians you are ever likely to hear.
Bill Allerton

“This music by the Jet Collective deserves to be played in major concert halls anywhere in the world. The composition and performance was of the highest standard (world class?) and deserves to be widely heard.”
Geoff Dalton

Sue Walker: “Just listened to the recordings and they are brilliant. This is interesting and beautifully crafted music”

To launch the album we are going to perform JetStream in three concerts:
